1. Celebrate your find!
You’ve discovered one of over 150 community-made ceramic mushrooms hidden around Marina Park and downtown Thunder Bay. Each one was painted by local residents during Art of the Mushroom, a CAHEP and The Hive community art project.
2. Take a closer look.
Every mushroom is unique. Notice the colours, patterns, and shapes. Each reflects the creativity of the artist who made it.
3. Share your discovery.
Snap a photo of your mushroom and post it on Instagram or Facebook using #ArtOfTheMushroom and #ThHiveTBay (and tag @thehivetbay and @cahepthunderbay if you can).
Your photo helps us track where the mushrooms travel and celebrates Thunder Bay’s creative spirit.
4. Keep or re-hide it.
You’re welcome to take one mushroom home as a keepsake or hide it again for someone else to find. If you re-hide, choose a spot that’s safe, visible, and weather-friendly.
